I teach classes on social justice, feminist and queer theory, histories of gender and sexuality, and labor studies. I love thinking with students about how feminist ideas can help us not only live in the world, but build a better one. My teaching is student-centered, accessible, and creative. I won the University of California, Santa Barbara's University-wide Excellence in Teaching Award.
A committed mentor, I'm excited to work with students to build their strengths and navigate academia and the world beyond it. Students can stop by office hours for recommendations on the best and weirdest new theory to read, advice on next steps after college, and connections with activist opportunities.
I also serve as Faculty in Residence at a USC first-year residence, where I develop programming focused on social justice and community building.
